Joygernaut is the brainchild of poet and award winning spoken word artist, Andy Craven-Griffiths. Andy approached me to create a brand and website for this exciting project. He wanted to collect stories of kindness, happiness and sadness, which would inform the writing of an interactive, one-person show exploring kindness and cruelty, their effects and our ability to choose.
We chatted at length about the branding. Andy allowed me to pitch my interpretation of the main visual themes and create a logo mark which spoke to his intellectual process and what that process would ultimately birth; research, kindness and cruelty, provocation of thought and, resultantly, a stunning piece of solo theatre.
I also created Andy a mini site, through which he could promote the project and collect story contributions, with a online survey for those who didn’t feel like writing.
This was a privilege to be a part of.
